Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd's entrance music is Cryin Like A Bitch. A fine choice. Aldo has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Kidd instigates a clinch.
Aldo with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Jason Kidd has been cut.
Kidd wants a takedown.

Aldo drops Kidd with a big knee straight up the middle! Kidd is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Kidd is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aldo moves into range and clinches up with Kidd.
Oh Kidd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aldo has Kidd pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Kidd is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Aldo - that's hurt Kidd badly! Oh, another knee lands and Kidd is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Kidd doesn't seem to be complaining.
