Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ralek Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Ralek Gracie has been cut.
Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gracie backs up against the cage.
Gracie blocks the body kick.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva gets the takedown into side control.
Gracie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Gracie is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Silva's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gracie tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
Silva blocks the strikes from Gracie.
Silva is tying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Silva misses with a combination

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gracie won't allow Silva to sweep him here.

Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Gracie decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva.

Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
Silva is controlling Gracie's posture.

Gracie wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva has Gracie pulled in close to control his posture.
Gracie postures up and lands a big shot to Silva's brow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ralek Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonas Silva.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva pushes Gracie off and gets back to his feet.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jonas Silva will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gracie stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Ralek Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Silva moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.
Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gracie is in the full mount, landing strikes.
BOOM! Gracie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gracie goes for an armbar but Silva turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Silva.

Silva wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gracie's closed guard. He's half up but Gracie has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gracie pivots and extends the arm, Silva falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gracie! Well done that man!
