Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uri Hegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by All I do is Win - DJ Khaled. Uri Hegg is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Uri Hegg!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hegg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hegg shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hegg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Hegg shows good takedown defense.
Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hegg stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hegg plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson throws a head kick but Hegg moves out of range.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hegg is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Hegg circles away and we're back to standing.
Hegg leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Hegg sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hegg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.

Mason Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hegg is trying to drag Jackson to the mat but Jackson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jackson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hegg throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Hegg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.

Hegg shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mason Jackson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
