The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kehoe swings for the body but Sluce moves out of range.
Sluce swats away the attempt to clinch by Kehoe.

Sluce closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kehoe to the mat! Kehoe manages to get full guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sluce has eaten all the pies!
Kehoe keeping moving, preventing Sluce from controlling successfully.

Sluce drops back looking for a leg! Kehoe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kehoe manages to kick Sluce off! Sluce jumps back into Kehoe's guard.

Kehoe has his feet on Sluce's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Kehoe tries to clinch up but Sluce circles away and keeps his distance.

Sluce shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kehoe but Kehoe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kehoe moves out of range as Sluce throws a body kick.
Kehoe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sluce swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sluce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kehoe as he jumps to the side.
Sluce takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sluce misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kehoe is looking to clinch but Sluce is avoiding it.

Sluce seems to be working for a kimura but Kehoe defends the submission attempt.

Kehoe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sluce swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kehoe fakes the leg kick and cracks Sluce in the body.
Kehoe doesn't manage to clinch there - Sluce circles away.
Kehoe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kehoe drives through and clinches with Sluce against the cage.

Kehoe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sluce backwards.
Kehoe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kehoe works on Sluce's body with a couple of short punches.
Sluce is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kehoe pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kehoe lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kehoe lands an uppercut.
Sluce tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kehoe just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kehoe throws a knee to the head but misses.

Sluce tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kehoe smiles and moves away.

Sluce jumps into guard, dragging Kehoe to the mat.

Sluce is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Sluce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kehoe moves in looking to clinch but Sluce pushes him off.
Tyler Kehoe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kehoe gets caught flat footed, as Sluce shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sluce tries to free his leg and advance position but Kehoe is retaining full guard.
Sluce trying to control the position from guard on top but Kehoe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sluce swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
