Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Conan Barbarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conan Barbarian had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Conan Barbarian could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lyoto Machida's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Barbarian blocks the body kick.
Barbarian takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Barbarian throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Machida.
Machida throws a hook but Barbarian avoids it easily.
Barbarian feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Machidas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Barbarian loads up on a big right hand but Machida slips the punch.
Machida throws a hook but Barbarian avoids it easily.
Machida blocks a head kick by Barbarian.
Barbarian jabs Machida to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Machida takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Machida takes one on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machida throws a head kick but Barbarian moves out of range.
Barbarian moves away from the strike by Machida.

and Barbarian counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Machida is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Conan Barbarian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Barbarian throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Machida is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
