Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sydney Gartner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Amongero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amongero feints a jab promting Gartner to slip. Amongero then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gartner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Amongero tests Gartner's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Gartner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gartner pushes down on Amongero's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Well, if Gartner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Amongero tries to kick Gartner off but Gartner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Amongero is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Gartner postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Amongero looks a forlorn figure.

BOOM! Gartner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gartner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Amongero really wants to buck Gartner off and get back to his feet.

Amongero is bucking up trying to escape but Gartner cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gartner has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Amongero's face.
