Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sean sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sapp has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Shannon Edwards has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards scores with a takedown into sapp's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edwards controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Edwards is pushing down on sapp's leg trying to pass to half guard. sapp is fighting to maintain full guard but Edwards has managed to sneak the leg through.

sapp tries to clinch there but Edwards circles away.

Edwards drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Edwards jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

sapp wants to stand up but Edwards is controlling him.

sapp swats away the attempt to clinch by Edwards.
Edwards tries to bum rush sapp with a series of wild strikes but sapp uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

sapp goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Edwards shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

sapp connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Edwards's hands.

Edwards connects with a nice cross there... sapp is looking wobbly and Edwards recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send sapp to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Edwards jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
