PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cal Worsham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cal Worsham told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wanderlei Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cal Worsham!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a hook. Worsham ducked under it nicely.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Worsham's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Worsham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Worsham has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Worshams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Worsham rolls with it to try and escape but Silva cranks on the arm and Worsham is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
