The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer scores with a punch to the head.
Rourke fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boxer, pushing him back against the cage.
Boxer stops a takedown attempt from Rourke.
Boxer lands a left hand.
Rourke goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boxer prevents it.
Rourke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rourke avoids the body shot from Boxer.
Rourke shoots in and bounces Boxer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boxer wants to stand and escape but Rourke is having none of it.
Rourke postures up in Boxer's guard and throws a big left but Boxer blocks it.

Rourke sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boxer's guard.

Rourke seems to be working for a kimura but Boxer defends the submission attempt.
Rourke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rourke tries to free his leg and advance position but Boxer is retaining full guard.
Rourke throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rourke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Boxer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Sam Rourke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rourke uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boxer.
Boxer closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rourke throws a shot from downtown. Boxer moves away and avoids it.
Rourke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rourke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boxer.

Boxer lands a body shot.
Rourke tries to close the distance and clinch but Boxer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rourke walks into a stiff left hand from Boxer.

Boxer clobbers Rourke with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boxer lands a jab to the head.
Boxer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rourkes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rourke takes one to the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rourke.
Boxer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rourke.
Boxer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rourke tries for a takedown but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rourke takes one on the button.

Boxer lands a jab to Rourke's midsection.
Rourke dodges the punch combination from Boxer.
Good exchange - Boxer coming out on top.
Rourke is still on wobbly legs! Can Boxer finish him?
Jab, jab by Boxer - just one landing.
Rourke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boxer is fending him off so far but Rourke persists. Nope, Boxer circles away and we're back to standing.
Boxer catches Rourke with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Rourke forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

After winning the bout, Ronnie Boxer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
