Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lj Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs has chosen LJ Gibbs as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jonathan Briggs could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lj Gibbs's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Briggs doesn't seem bothered though.
Jonathan Briggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gibbs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Briggs's guard.
Briggs pulls Gibbs in close to prevent any damage.

Briggs manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gibbs manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gibbs has hold of Briggs's hands but Briggs slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Briggs connects with a nice short shot to Gibbs's temple.
