Meridius comes into the arena with Sexion d'Assaut - Desole blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPunches rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Meridius counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Meridius blocks a jab.
Meridius throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Meridius swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meridius uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McPunches.
McPunches misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meridius.
Meridius lands with a kick to the ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Meridius lands a big head kick that sends McPunches tumbling to the mat! Meridius takes a step backwards and waves McPunches back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McPunches is rocked!

It looks like Punchy McPunches has been cut.
McPunches looks gassed!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Meridius, right into the meat.
McPunches is still on wobbly legs! Can Meridius finish him?
Meridius scores with a nice body kick.
McPunches gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Meridius points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. McPunches wakes up just in time to hear Meridius thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Maximus Meridius!
A relieved looking Maximus Meridius thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
