Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meridius's entrance music is Sexion d'Assaut - Desole . A fine choice. Meridius has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Conan Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meridius jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Meridius should have avoided that one.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick.
Meridius is breathing heavily.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones throws a quick inside leg kick.
Meridius looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Nice body kick there by Jones.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Meridius takes one to the side of the head.
Jones throws a left that rocks Meridius and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jones dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Meridius regain composure!
Meridius is rocked!
It looks like Maximus Meridius has been cut.
Jones lands a strong strike to the head of Meridius. That's dazed him! Jones looking to finish here. Meridius is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jones lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conan Jones!
An out of breath Conan Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
