Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloane swings away with a body shot that misses

and Fasaani counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fasaani has his foot on Sloane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sloane works his way back into a safe position though.

Fasaani tries to close the distance and clinch but Sloane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fasaani chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sloane can pounce on him.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sloane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fasaani manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sloane on his heels. He'll look to pass Sloane's guard now, I'm sure.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sloane has momentary wrist control but Fasaani slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fasaani would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sloane is trying to keep Fasaani in close.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sloane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
