Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kobolovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mazaa Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kobolovski is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Kobolovski circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva tries a body shot but Kobolovski blocks it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kobolovski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva throws a strike but Kobolovski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kobolovski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kobolovski is aware though and is defending well.
Silva wants to stand and escape but Kobolovski is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kobolovski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kobolovski has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
