Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Naughtius Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiyapairat has chosen Ram Muay as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

It looks like Naughtius Maximus has been cut.
Tiyapairat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maximus.
Maximus scores with a hook to the body. Tiyapairat takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Maximus checks a leg kick.
Maximus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Maximus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Maximus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tiyapairat was well out of range. Poor timing from Maximus.
Tiyapairat tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maximus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tiyapairat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tiyapairat throws a right hand that Maximus ducks under and follows up with a left that Maximus also avoids with ease.

Maximus throws a leg kick but Tiyapairat sees it coming and moves out of range.

Tiyapairat takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Maximus thuds his right hand into Tiyapairat's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Tiyapairat tries to get into range but Maximus steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Tiyapairat! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Maximus scores the big KO victory!

After the fight, Naughtius Maximus was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
