The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopped throws a body kick that misses.

Chopped manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Llewtras on his heels. He'll look to pass Llewtras's guard now, I'm sure.

Llewtras tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Llewtras is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Chopped stands up from Llewtras's guard - Chopped perhaps looking for a knockout.

and Chopped counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chopped not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Chopped gets to his feet. Llewtras looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Llewtras misses with a takedown

so Chopped counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Llewtras not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chopped working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Chopped would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Chopped prevents Llewtras from getting back to his feet.
Chopped stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Llewtras swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chopped tries to free his leg and advance position but Llewtras is retaining full guard.
Llewtras is trying to control the position from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Chopped counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chopped.

Llewtras is looking to stand up but Chopped isn't so interested in that idea.

Chopped slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Im Chopped.
Chopped stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Llewtras.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
