Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zef Tanghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tanghe counters with an outside leg kick.
Silva throws a hook but Tanghe avoids it easily.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tanghe was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Silva shoots and misses
and Tanghe counters with a thumping low kick.
Tanghe misses with a wild combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tanghe. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tanghe throws a wild body kick that Silva sees coming a mile off.

Tanghe throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanghe's waist but Tanghe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Tanghe's head but Tanghe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tanghe takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Tanghe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tanghe tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tanghe to the ground. Tanghe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Silva counters with a straight right hand.
Tanghe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tanghe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Tanghe pushes Silva off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Zef Tanghe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tanghe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tanghe's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tanghe wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tanghe is breathing heavily.

I would just about give that final round to Zef Tanghe.
I think Tanghe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
