The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey lands with a hook. Ovrut tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A shot to the liver by Dempsey. Beautiful body shot.
Dempsey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ovrut.
Ovrut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dempsey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Jack Dempsey has been cut.

Dempsey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dempsey stuffs the takedown attempt from Ovrut. Ovrut gets slowly back to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dempsey darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ovrut fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jack Dempsey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Ovrut.
Ovrut looks gassed!
Ovrut tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dempsey swivels and escapes.
A jab from Dempsey finds it's way through Ovrut's defenses.
Dempsey throws a body punch but Ovrut moves out of range.
Dempsey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Horrible takedown by Ovrut or perhaps it was just good defense by Dempsey which made him look bad.
Dempsey lands with a good body shot.
Ovrut gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Dempsey digs a good body shot into Ovrut's ribs.
Dempsey cracks Ovrut with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ovrut is rocked!
Dempsey connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Ovrut covering up! Dempsey comes in with a big uppercut and Ovrut goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
