The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields dives in and grabs Sackett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sackett pushes down on Shields's head and hops out.
Horrible takedown by Shields or perhaps it was just good defense by Sackett which made him look bad.

Sackett drops Shields with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shields looks back up at him and smiles so Sackett waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Shields is rocked!

It looks like Mike Shields has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sackett lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Shields is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shields is breathing heavily.
Sackett comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A shot to the liver by Sackett. Beautiful body shot.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sackett - that will leave a mark!
Sackett moves in close and cracks Shields with a massive right hand! Shields, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Sackett!
