Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicol Abdulgani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gosta Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nicol Abdulgani has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicol Abdulgani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gosta Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdulgani throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunes's waist but Nunes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abdulgani off to one side.

Nunes shoots for a double leg takedown but Abdulgani sprawls well. He's pushed Nunes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nunes has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Abdulgani off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nicol Abdulgani will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Nunes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Abdulgani throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nunes's body to avoid the submission. Nunes has instead reached around Abdulgani's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nunes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Our winner, Gosta Nunes, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
