Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kong Po!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dustin James!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Po, pushing him back against the cage.

James has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Po clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
James not allowing Po to control his hands.

Po is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Po wants to control his opponent's hands but James gets his hands free.
James misses with an elbow to the head.
Good control from James.

James just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Po has an active guard here but James has managed to pass into half guard.

James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Po sprawls well. Po wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.
Po stalks James and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into James's face. James staggers backwards, shaken.
Po closes the distance but James moves to the side

and James holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Po is looking for a takedown up against the cage. James gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

James keeps control of Po as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Po wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Po throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

James moves into the clinch.

James gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Po manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Po lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Po can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as James is looking to escape.
James tries to hold on but Po pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James is desperately trying to improve his position but Po has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dustin James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Po leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
James throws a series of punches but Po moves out of range.
Po throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Po shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Po throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Po off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kong Po. That's going to take a lot out of him.

James drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Po dives on top into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Dustin James.
I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
