The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice combo by Vieira! Oh, that's hurt him - Rojo falls to the canvas and Vieira follows him into side control.
It looks like Miguel Rojo has been cut.

Vieira has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rojo has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

and Vieira counters with a straight right hand.
No joy there for Vieira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That has opened up Fabio Vieira's cut even more.
Rojo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vieira throws a right hand that Rojo ducks under and follows up with a left that Rojo also avoids with ease.
Vieira connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rojo's hands.

Vieira throws a wild hook but Rojo just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Vieira gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Rojo raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miguel Rojo!
Miguel Rojo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
