Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rob Gracia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracia comes to the cage accompanied by T.C It's going down. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Gracia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Silva!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silva wants to clinch up but Gracia keeps it at a distance.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracia circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

An inside leg kick lands from Silva.
Gracia tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracia.

Silva clinches up with Gracia and pushes him back against the cage.

Silva looks to land a combination but Gracia avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Gracia ducks right into an uppercut from Silva.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gracia on his heels. He'll look to pass Gracia's guard now, I'm sure.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcos Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Gracia shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gracia!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracia is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gracia's head backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
