Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dj Tiongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Sotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Roberto Sotto!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotto misses the shot to the body.
Tiongson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sotto.
Sotto throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Tiongson counters with a takedown into side control.
Sotto is trying to control Tiongson's posture but Tiongson avoids it.

Tiongson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tiongson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tiongson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sotto has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sotto wants to control but Tiongson postures up.

Tiongson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sotto to his feet.

Sotto gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tiongson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Tiongson gets to his feet. Sotto looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tiongson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tiongson tries to free his leg and advance position but Sotto is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dj Tiongson wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Tiongson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tiongson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sotto some visible discomfort.

Tiongson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Dj Tiongson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tiongson moves into the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tiongson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tiongson lands a nice short elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tiongson closes the distance and clinches.
Sotto is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tiongson is defending well.

Tiongson manages to pull guard.
Tiongson pulls Sotto in close to his closed guard and prevents Sotto from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tiongson wants to sweep here but Sotto controlling him for the moment.
Tiongson seems keen to control Sotto's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tiongson is on top in guard.
Tiongson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sotto can do to turn this around?

Sotto thows a leg kick but Tiongson checks it

and Tiongson counters with a crisp one two that drops Sotto! Tiongson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sotto to his feet! Sotto is in big trouble!
