Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Milat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amadeus Astra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Astra has chosen Once in a Lifetime as his entrance music. Amadeus Astra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milat jabs Astra to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Milat takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Astra slips a straight right by Milat.
Milat throws a hook to the side of Astra's head but Astra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Astra waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Milat.
Astra on the wrong end of a nice hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Milat stuffs the takedown.
Astra avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Astra counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Astra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Milat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Astra somewhat.

Astra shoots in for a double leg but Milat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ivan Milat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amadeus Astra.

Astra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
