Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with an uppercut. Soszynski saw that one coming.
Soszynski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith.
Soszynski is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Soszynski.
Soszynski slips under a jab.
Soszynski blocks a jab.
Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Soszynski manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Soszynski lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Soszynski ducks straight into an uppercut from Smith and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Soszynski maanges to regain guard straight away.
Soszynski is rocked!
Soszynski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Soszynski is still in real trouble! Can Smith finish him?
Smith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Soszynski seems to have recovered his senses.
Soszynski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape.

Smith tries to reverse the position but Soszynski maintains control.
Soszynski scoring with strikes but Smith is staying in there.
The referee warns Smith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Soszynski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Smith has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Smith is trying to escape the mount.
Smith is controlling an arm, preventing Soszynski from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Smith is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith is squirming around, avoiding Soszynski's attempts to control the action.

Soszynski with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Soszynski is working for a guillotine from mount but Smith frees his head quite easily.
Smith tries to improve his position but instead Soszynski has taken his back!
Soszynski is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Smith knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Smith for a finish.
Soszynski has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Smith.
Smith is trying to get back to his feet but Soszynski has full control of the position and if anything, Smith has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Smith turns into Soszynski and is now in his guard.
Smith is breathing heavily.

Soszynski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Soszynski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith!
Smith gets back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Soszynski connects with a nice short shot to Smith's temple.
Soszynski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Smith looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Smith blocking the ground and pound attempt from Soszynski.
Soszynski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Smith knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Soszynski lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Smith is trying to stand back up but Soszynski is controlling him
Soszynski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Soszynski decides to stand and escape the position.
Smith buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smith motions for Soszynski to come forward. Smith throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Soszynski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Soszynski slips under a jab from Smith.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith misses with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krzys Soszynski dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Soszynski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.
Smith stuffs the takedown.
Smith misses with a straight right.
Soszynski slips a straight right by Smith.
Soszynski scores with a takedown into Smith's guard.
Soszynski looking to pass the guard.
Soszynski passes Smith's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Soszynski wants to advance to full mount but Smith doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Smith looking for a sweep. Not yet Smith, not yet.
Soszynski passes Smith's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Soszynski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Smith won't allow Soszynski to pass to mount.

Soszynski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Soszynski in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Smith tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Soszynski!
