Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanye West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West has chosen Jesus Walks as his entrance music. Mike Jones has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kanye West!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by West which made him look bad.
Jones looks to land a right hand but West moved out of range.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

West uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
West dodges the punch combination from Jones.
West avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
West slips a straight right by Jones.

and West counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and West decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West controls from within his opponent's guard.

Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as West controls the pace.
West loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

West thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

West drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick West off! West jumps back into Jones's guard.
West stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

West decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.
West not doing much here.
West passes the guard and advances to mount!

West is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Jones is defending well though. West let's go of the attempt for now.

West has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
