The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood throws a series of punches but Nelson moves out of range.
Nelson tries to land a front kick but Wood steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wood ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wood no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nelson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wood swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wood is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Nelson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wood looks for a takedown but Nelson sprawls well.

Wood jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nelson walks away with a smile on his face. Wood gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Good leg kick by Nelson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nelson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wood. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Nelson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nelson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wood if he has to take too many more of those.

Brian Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Brian Nelson.
Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
