Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Kovacs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Adam West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jordan Kovacs!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

West changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kovacs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

West tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

West is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kovacs is aware though and is defending well.

West drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kovacs manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now West has Kovacs in his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kovacs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? West is fending him off so far but Kovacs persists. Nope, West circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Kovacs with that takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

West is stalling here. Kovacs is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! West seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kovacs has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Kovacs is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam West will probably get the nod.

Kovacs is persistently looking for the submission but West is defending it well.

I would just about give that final round to Jordan Kovacs.
Well West has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Adam West decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
