Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Carwin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Carwin. Beautiful body shot.

Carwin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carwin wants it to stay on the feet.

Hanma shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carwin but Carwin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Carwin tries to sprawl but Hanma drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Hanma stands up and beckons Carwin to join him on the feet.

Hanma creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Carwin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Hanma wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carwin, who protects the arm well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Carwin. Hanma does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hanma throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hanma closes the distance and clinches up with Carwin, looking for a takedown. Hanma pushes Carwin against the cage but Carwin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hanma shoots in for a takedown but Carwin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hanma changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carwin tries to avoid it but Hanma manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carwin to the ground. Carwin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hanma closes the distance and clinches up with Carwin, looking for a takedown. Hanma pushes Carwin against the cage but Carwin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Carwin cracks Hanma with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Carwin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The crowd cheers as Carwin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hanma doesn't seem phased though.
