And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Costa did well to prevent Pete getting side control.

Pete really is a fat lump.
Pete is looking to take a break and control but Costa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pete working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Costa's thigh. Costa counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Pete wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving.
Costa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Costa seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pete is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Fabricio Costa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
