Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mister Pink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santino Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pink comes to the cage accompanied by Mitsa. Santino Carolla has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mister Pink's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Pink 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Pink shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carolla's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pink accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pink tries to free his leg and advance position but Carolla is retaining full guard.
Pink is looking to work some ground and pound but Carolla has wrist control.
Pinkis looking to pass into half guard but Carolla pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Carolla is in guard.
Carolla controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mister Pink wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Pink shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carolla as he jumps to the side.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Carolla comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carolla connects with a body shot that sends Pink's belly button to the back.
Carolla keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mister Pink. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carolla lands a nice hook to Pink's body. Pink takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pink is breathing heavily.

and Carolla counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Carolla lands with a hook. Pink tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carolla throws out a powerful jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pink gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Carolla counters with a left and a right that stings Pink.

Pink is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carolla weaves into range and cracks Pink right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Pink goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Carolla is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Santino Carolla!
