Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jordan White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dreamer - Wiz Khalifa. Garcia is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fuel - Mettalica. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marc Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch but White swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Garcia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.

White gets a clinch.
Garcia tries a body shot but White blocks it.
Garcia misses with a hook from the clinch.

White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marc Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia tries to clinch up but White circles away and keeps his distance.

White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
White misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
White takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Garcia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. White manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Marc Garcia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Garcia pinned against the cage. Garcia gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

White wants the takedown. Garcia is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garcia's guard against the cage.

Garcia can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as White controls the pace.
Garcia is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jordan White.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

White closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Garcia quickly recovers to half guard.
Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

White takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Garcia for as long as he can get away with.

White closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Garcia did well to prevent White getting side control.

White looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Garcia is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd cheers as White lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garcia doesn't seem phased though.

White feints and as Garcia raises his hands in defense, White changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
White wants to control from the top but Garcia keeps moving.
White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garcia is keeping the position for now.
White sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Garcia's guard.

Garcia pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.

Garcia lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Garcia scores with a jab. White acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Garcia slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garcia is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.

White has managed to clinch.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Garcia creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

White wants the takedown. Garcia is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garcia's guard against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White closes the distance and clinches up with Garcia, looking for a takedown. White pushes Garcia against the cage but Garcia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Marc Garcia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jordan White is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

White dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on White's head and hops out.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for White, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
