The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Pina swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Laurent swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
de Pina misses with a hook. Laurent ducked under it nicely.
de Pina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
de Pina throws a hook to the side of Laurent's head but Laurent sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
de Pina throws a head kick but Laurent moves out of range.
Laurent throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Laurent moves out of range of the strikes.
de Pina throws a lazy uppercut
and Laurent counters with a left and a right that stings de Pina.
de Pina throws a low kick but Laurent avoids it.
de Pina missing with a left hand there. Laurent was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
de Pina misses with a straight right.
Laurent scores with a jab.
de Pina throws a poor cross that misses
and Laurent counters with a stiff right hand.
de Pina throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Laurent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Laurent ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
de Pina misses with a low kick.
A good leg kick by de Pina.
de Pina doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Laurent counters with a nice body shot.
The fighters circling - de Pina throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
de Pina throws an overhand right that lands on Laurent's shoulder, as Laurent tries to avoid the shot.
Laurent throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent de Pina stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Laurent fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. de Pina looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Laurent gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Laurent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

de Pina throws a leg kick but Laurent sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Laurent throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Laurent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down de Pina rather than just go for the knockout.
Laurent takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
de Pina takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Laurent is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by de Pina.

de Pina's jab looks to have found its range, popping Laurent under the eye.

de Pina thows a left - swing and a miss!

Laurent lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Laurent can't find room to land a body shot as de Pina controls the action.
Laurent has de Pina pressed against the cage, preventing de Pina from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Laurent manages to break the clinch.

Steven de Pina decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
