The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gacy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gacy stuns Bergstrom with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gacy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gacy throws out a loose jab but Bergstrom uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gacy throws a jab when Bergstrom was well out of range.

Gacy falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Bergstrom to counter with a crisp jab.
Gacy walks into a stiff left hand from Bergstrom.
Bergstrom moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Gacy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gacy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gacy throws a lazy uppercut
and Bergstrom connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gacy dodges the punch combination from Bergstrom.
Bergstrom lands a nice shot to the body.

Bergstrom clinches with his opponent.
Gacy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gacy tries to circle away but Bergstrom has him pinned against the cage.
Bergstrom can't break the clinch.
Bergstrom keeps control of Gacy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gacy has had enough of the clinch but Bergstrom keeps him there for the moment.
Bergstrom throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gacys head.
Nice body punch from Bergstrom - that landed with a thud.
Gacy is trying to push Bergstrom away but Bergstrom has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Gacy jumps guard but Bergstrom turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Bergstrom's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bergstrom has Gacy pressed against the cage, preventing Gacy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gacy is trying to break free.
Bergstrom lands with a light punch inside.
Bergstrom manages to break the clinch.
Gacy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gacy misses with an uppercut. Bergstrom saw that one coming.
John Gacy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gacy jabs Bergstrom right on the nose. Bergstrom blinks but takes it well.
Bergstrom throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gacy throws a one two combo.
Bergstrom feints a jab promting Gacy to slip. Bergstrom then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gacy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gacy is rocked!
Gacy throws a poor cross that misses
and Bergstrom scores with a counter punch that sends Gacy to the canvas! Bergstrom smells blood - he's punishing Gacy with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Gacy has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josef Bergstrom!
