The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dos Santos with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rua waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dos Santos.
Dos Santos sends Rua crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dos Santos is motioning to the referee to let Rua up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Nate Rua has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dos Santos drops Rua with a big left hand! Rua is injured, injured bad! Dos Santos jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
