The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tie swivels and escapes.

Matt Tie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Tie counters with a two punch combo.

Oooooh!!! Tie has knocked Fredriksson down with a huge combo! Tie steps away and waves a wobbly Fredriksson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fredriksson walks into a stiff left hand from Tie.

Oooooh!!! Tie has knocked Fredriksson down with a huge combo! Tie steps away and waves a wobbly Fredriksson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Tie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fredriksson sprawling to the canvas! Fredriksson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tie finish him?!
Tie looks to score with a jab to the body but Fredriksson is just out of range.
Fredriksson seems to have recovered his senses.

Fredriksson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tie defends it nicely.
Fredriksson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A punch lands to the side of Fredriksson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice jab there from Tie.
Tie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tie connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Donk. Tie catches Fredriksson right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fredriksson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fredriksson takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Tie cracks Fredriksson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fredriksson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tie finish him?

Fredriksson is rocked!
Tie drops Fredriksson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fredriksson! Tie dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
