The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinguttaja gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Spong.
Spong misses with the combination.
Spong scores with a hook to the body. Vinguttaja takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spong. Vinguttaja does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spong thows a body shot but no joy.
Vinguttaja tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spong swivels and escapes.
Vinguttaja tries to clinch but Spong moves out of range.
Spong lands a right hook to the body.
Vinguttaja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Spong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Vinguttaja uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spong.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spong throws a poor cross that misses
and Vinguttaja counters with a head kick. That will keep Spong thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

The crowd cheers as Spong lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vinguttaja doesn't seem phased though.

Vinguttaja takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spong lands the left hand.
Spong cracks Vinguttaja on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Vinguttaja falls backwards against the cage. Spong follows up with more strikes that drop Vinguttaja to his knees. Spong keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Vinguttaja! This one is all over!
