Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Brookins!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Brookins misses.
A low kick from Brookins misses
letting Kaan counter with a right hand.
Brookins has his takedown stuffed
and Brookins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brookins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Brookins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brookins fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kanir Kaan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Brookins.
Brookins shoots and misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kaan misses with a head kick.
Brookins dodges the punch combination from Kaan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kaan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kaan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Kaan moves out of range of the body kick.
Kaan checks a leg kick.
Brookins misses the shot to the body.
Kaan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kaan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Brookins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Brookins looks gassed!
Brookins takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kaan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kaan thumps Brookins with a low kick.
Kaan lands with a shot to the body.
Kaan works over Brookins's head and body with a nice combination.
Brookins with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kaan to score with a decent uppercut.
Brookins is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaan connects with a stiff jab that staggers Brookins - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kanir Kaan!
