Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darko Zaleski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Perdatov's choice of entrance music: Muhammad Ali Speech. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darko Zaleski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nanos Perdatov!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perdatov misses the shot to the body.

Perdatov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zaleski throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Perdatov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Perdatov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zaleski is controlling him.
Zaleski throwing strikes but missing.
Zaleski trying to control the position from guard on top but Perdatov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zaleski throws a strike but Perdatov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Zaleski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Perdatov in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Perdatov tries to hold on but Zaleski pushes him away.

Zaleski misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Perdatov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zaleski has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Perdatov's face.
Zaleski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Perdatov is looking to escape.
Perdatov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zaleski is pressing down on Perdatov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Perdatov is holding on for now.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Zaleski looking to sit in guard and control but Perdatov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Perdatov trying to control the position from guard on top but Zaleski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zaleski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Perdatov manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zaleski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Perdatov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Perdatov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Perdatov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zaleski.
Horrible takedown by Zaleski or perhaps it was just good defense by Perdatov which made him look bad.
Zaleski shoots in for a double leg but Perdatov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Nice straight punches there by Perdatov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Perdatov.

Perdatov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zaleski is fending him off so far but Perdatov persists. Nope, Zaleski circles away and we're back to standing.

Zaleski shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Perdatov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zaleski tries to avoid it but Perdatov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zaleski to the ground. Zaleski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Perdatov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Perdatov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Perdatov cracks Zaleski with an open hand slap.
Perdatov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zaleski.
Darko Zaleski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zaleski's jab looks to have found its range, popping Perdatov under the eye.
Zaleski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Zaleski connects with a leg kick. Perdatov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perdatov.
Zaleski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Perdatov.
Zaleski takes a swing at Perdatov's ribcage but misses.
Zaleski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zaleski wants it to stay on the feet.
Zaleski feints and then cracks Perdatov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Perdatov down.

Perdatov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zaleski.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Darko Zaleski will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Zaleski tries to land a leg kick but Perdatov saw it coming and moves away.

Zaleski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perdatov manages to avoid it.

Perdatov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zaleski's waist but Zaleski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perdatov off to one side.

Zaleski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Perdatov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zaleski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Perdatov moves away.

Perdatov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zaleski sprawls well. Zaleski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perdatov gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Perdatov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zaleski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perdatov is in Zaleski's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Nanos Perdatov.
Well Zaleski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
