PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Leuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Madness - Our House as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Leuka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jermaine Robinson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson has managed to clinch.

Robinson wants the takedown. Leuka is fighting it off but Robinson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Leuka's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Robinson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Robinson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Robinson stands and steps away. Leuka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Leuka keeps the fight on the outside.

Robinson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Robinson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Robinson has closed the distance and engaged Leuka in a clinch.

Robinson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Leuka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Robinson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Robinson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Leuka is trying to keep an underhook but Robinson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Robinson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Leuka is in trouble now - Robinson has advanced to mount!

Leuka is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Leuka is bucking up trying to escape but Robinson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Leuka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Robinson lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Robinson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Robinson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Leuka looks a forlorn figure.

Leuka really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Robinson! Leuka is hurt baaadly! Robinson is firing away with more strikes - Leuka is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
