The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jangles throws a head kick but Juan moves out of range.
Juan lands with a nice body kick.
Jangles misses with a leg kick.
Jangles thows a leg kick but Juan checks it
and Juan counters with a good low kick that Jangles was not able to check.
Juan closes the distance and clinches up with Jangles, looking for a takedown. Juan pushes Jangles against the cage but Jangles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Juan makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jangles really felt that one!

Juan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jangles tries to avoid it but Juan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jangles to the ground. Jangles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bo Jangles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jangles.

Jangles tries to work over Juan's front leg with a kick but Juan checks it.

Jangles shoots in looking for a takedown but Juan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jangles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jangles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Juan or perhaps it was just good defense by Jangles which made him look bad.

Jangles changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Juan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Juan is looking to regain half guard here but Jangles keeps moving and retains side control.

Jangles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Jangles is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Juan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jangles gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Juan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jangles lets go of the hold and Juan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
