The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz looks to land a body kick but Benitez moved away.
Benitez takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Cruz throws a body kick the misses
and Benitez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cruz really felt that one!

Benitez checks a leg kick nicely.

Benitez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Benitez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cruz finds it's way round the side to connect with Benitez's head.

Cruz cracks Benitez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
