Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yakai Ossini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner State (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ossini comes into the arena with Tsurugi No Mai by Nujabes blaring out of the sound system. State has chosen Blaze Of Glory by Bon Jovi as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
State takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
State misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ossini.
State checks a leg kick nicely.
Ossini moves out of range of the body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ossini.
The fighters circling - State throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ossini slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Gunner State seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

State tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ossini swivels and escapes.
State fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ossini has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

State is looking to take a break and control but Ossini is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

State wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ossini keeps working.

State turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

State throws out a loose jab but Ossini uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ossini doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Ossini cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
State lands a leg kick that knocks Ossini off balance momentarily.
State throws the kick towards the body but Ossini avoids it.
State wants to slow Ossini down by chopping away at his legs.
State throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
State swings and misses with a hook to the body.
State throws a low kick, looking for Ossini's leg but Ossini calmly moves out of range.

State stalks Ossini and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ossini's face. Ossini staggers backwards, shaken.

Ossini throws a wild body kick that State sees coming a mile off.
State shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
State throws a hook but Ossini blocks it.
State feints and then cracks Ossini's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ossini down.
State takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
State tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ossini was well out of range. Poor timing from State.

State just misses with a punch to the body.

State throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fighters circle momentarily. State darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
State avoids a kick to the body.
Ossini throws a half hearted mid kick.
State throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
State throws a leg kick which misses Ossini's front leg but catches the back leg as Ossini tries to avoid it.

Gunner State showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

State thows a body kick. Ossini tries to catch it but that hurt him.
State lands with a nice body punch.

and Ossini counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ossini moves out of range of the body kick from State.
Ossini avoids the body shot from State.
State lands a right hook to the body.

Ossini misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ossini crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from State - the referee stops the clock and Ossini gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says State. Ossini manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

State looks to land a left hand but Ossini moved out of range nicely.
State finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and State counters with a nice uppercut.
State misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
State scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ossini doesn't seem bothered though.
