PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Demarcus Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Areski Chayem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ware comes into the arena with Put on blaring out of the sound system. Chayem has chosen 3 6 mafia -Some bodies gonna get it as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chayem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ware.

Chayem tries to keep at a distance but Ware has taken the fight into the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Chayem wants to stand and escape but Ware is having none of it.
Ware stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chayem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ware shoots in and gets a takedown into Chayem's guard.

Ware has gone for a leg lock! Chayem slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ware's guard.

Chayem got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ware has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chayem has managed to get both his arms back between Ware's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ware is trying to keep Chayem in close.
Ware is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chayem is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Chayem is working Ware over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ware is looking to advance position but Chayem has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Chayem takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ware is bucking up trying to escape but Chayem cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Chayem is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
