The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Piero tries to clinch but Wave moves away
enabling Wave to counter with a crisp jab.
Wave lands a really nice looking cross but Del Piero seems unphased.
It looks like Albert Del Piero has been cut.
Del Piero is breathing heavily.
Wave punishes Del Piero's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Wave has cracked Del Piero with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Wave lands another huge swinging hook and Del Piero tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Del Piero, before Wave can land any more shots!
