PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Rader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin comes into the arena with Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music blaring out of the sound system. Rader has chosen His Own Fight Video as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Rader!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circling - Austin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Austin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rader has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rader and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rader got a little sloppy there for a moment and Austin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rader has managed to get both his arms back between Austin's legs - danger averted.
