Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Rotoras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiapo Okina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotoras comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rotoras looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rotoras working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Rotoras trying to control but Okina is working from the bottom.

Okina looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rotoras stops Okina from standing up.
Rotoras looking to pass the guard.
Okina is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Okina had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rotoras defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Okina keeping full guard, as Rotoras tries to pass.
Rotoras postures up and lands a big shot to Okina's brow.
Okina is looking to stand up but Rotoras isn't so interested in that idea.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rotoras stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Okina swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Okina throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rotoras with a nice head shot there.

Okina throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rotoras uses it to pass to side control.

Rotoras working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Okina regains half guard.
Rotoras looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Okina is looking to escape.
Okina flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Rotoras winds up and cracks Okina with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Okina manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Rotoras slips under a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Okina counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Okina loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Okina's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Okina accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rotoras looking for a guillotine here but Okina defends easily.
Okina is working Rotoras over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rotoras wants to sweep but no luck.

Okina got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rotoras has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Okina has managed to get both his arms back between Rotoras's legs - danger averted.
Okina landing with the ground and pound.
Rotoras looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Okina chips away with some ground and pound.
Okina lands a couple of elbows.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rotoras is on top in guard.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Okina wants to stand but Rotoras is controlling the position.

Rotoras tries to free his leg and advance position but Okina is retaining full guard.
Rotoras wants to control from the top but Okina keeps moving.
Rotoras won't allow Okina to get back to his feet.

Okina looking for a guillotine here but Rotoras defends easily.
Okina wants to stand but Rotoras is controlling the position.
Rotoras forces his way into half guard.
Rotoras passes to full mount!
Okina is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rotoras cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Okina is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Rotoras fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rotoras is landing with some decent strikes but Okina is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Rotoras pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Rotoras is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Okina can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Okina is rocked!
Rotoras postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Okina bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Rotoras and the fight is over!
