Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro rushes White and presses him up against the cage.

White wants to take the fight to the mat but Castro manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

White shoots in for a takedown but Castro shows good takedown defense.
White shoots in but Castro avoids the takedown attempt easily.

White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Castro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Castro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Castro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Castro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage.

Castro throws a front kick aimed at White's knee but White avoids it well.
Castro throws a head kick that half lands.

Castro throws a hook but White avoids it easily.
Castro darts in trying to clinch

so White counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
White passes Castro's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White prevents Castro from standing back up.

White is trying to work for a kimura but Castro is defending well.

White is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan White.
I think Castro has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
