Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justino Cordobes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pal Secam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Secam has chosen System Of A Down - Chop Suey! as his entrance music. Justino Cordobes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Secam slaps away a takedown attempt from Cordobes, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Secam decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Secam throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cordobes is doing well to control the position and prevent Secam from advancing to side control.
Secam landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Cordobes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Secam blocks the strikes from Cordobes.

Secam is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cordobes defends it well.
Cordobes is looking for a sweep. Secam is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cordobes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cordobes tries to get out of the position.
Cordobes is trying to control but can't.
Cordobes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Secam.
Cordobes landing strikes from the bottom.
Cordobes trying to hold on to Secam's head to control him but Secam postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cordobes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cordobes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cordobes is trying to keep Secam in close.
Cordobes tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Secam loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Secam trying to control but Cordobes is working from the bottom.
Cordobes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Secam looking to pass the guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Secam shoots in for a takedown but Cordobes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Secam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Secam checks a leg kick.

Cordobes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Secam did well to prevent Cordobes getting side control.
Cordobes throwing shots but Secam is blocking nicely.
Cordobes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cordobes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Secam!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Secam tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cordobes looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Cordobes throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Secam because Cordobes loaded up on that one.

Cordobes working for a guillotine from mount but Secam is in no mood to give up.
Secam is in a horrible position here. Cordobes smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Secam tries to hold on but Cordobes postures up.
Secam manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Cordobes missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Secam keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Secam is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cordobes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cordobes's back!
Secam is not going to allow Cordobes to sit and survive in this position.
Secam lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Cordobes hold on?!

Secam is looking for the choke from the back position but Cordobes is controlling his hands well.

Secam has got one arm under Cordobes's chin. This could be trouble... Cordobes trying to control the other hand but Secam gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Cordobes has tapped out! The fight is over!
